WedFlex (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a wedding marketplace where couples post offers for talented local people. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information — including phone numbers collected through our SMS program — when you use our website and sign-up forms.
This policy applies to all information collected through wedflex.com and any WedFlex sign-up form, including the Couple Interest form and the WedFlexer Interest form.
We collect the information you provide directly through our sign-up forms, which may include: your name, email address, mailing address, city, state, preferred language, your wedding timeline or the services you offer, and your phone number.
We also automatically collect standard technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) when you use our website.
When you provide your phone number and check the SMS consent box on our sign-up form, you are opting in to receive text messages from WedFlex about your account and launch notifications for your area.
What we do with your phone number: we use it solely to send you these operational and launch notifications. We do not use your phone number for any other purpose unless you separately opt in.
Message frequency: message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out: you can cancel the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact us using the information below to opt out. After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message; no further messages will be sent.
Message types and frequency: by opting in, you agree to receive account-related and launch-notification text messages from WedFlex. Message frequency varies based on activity in your area — typically a few messages per month — and we do not send recurring marketing blasts.
Carrier fees: message and data rates may apply to any text messages we send, based on your mobile carrier's plan and rates. WedFlex does not charge you for messages, but your carrier may. Check your mobile plan for details.
Opt-in guidelines: you opt in by providing your phone number on our sign-up form and checking the SMS consent box. Opt-in is voluntary and not a condition of using our website. You must be the phone number's owner or authorized user, and you must be 18 or older.
Opt-out guidelines: reply STOP to any message to cancel the SMS program at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. You may also opt out by contacting us through our website. After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message; no further messages will be sent. Opting out of SMS does not affect any other communications you receive from us.
WedFlex does not currently operate an SMS abandoned cart program. We do not use website cookies, plugins, or other tracking tools to identify abandoned carts or to trigger SMS messages based on your browsing or shopping activity. If we ever introduce such a program, we will update this policy to describe exactly how cart abandonment is detected and how we use that information before any such messaging begins.
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
We do not sell your personal information, including your phone number or SMS opt-in status.
We may also share limited personal information with service providers who help us operate our website and store your sign-up data, and as required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not use GPS, device location tracking, or other location-based services to track you. The city and state you provide on our sign-up forms are self-reported by you and are used only to notify you when WedFlex launches in your area.
We retain your sign-up information for as long as needed to operate the SMS program and notify you of launches in your area, or until you ask us to delete it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the personal information we collect; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
You may: opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP; request that we delete your sign-up information or opt-in status; or request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. To make any of these requests, contact us using the information below.
